10 Dec RAISE Youth Annual Event 2022
The RAISE Youth project Annual Event took place on December 9th in the city of Gospić, Croatia. The event was attended by the head of Sector for EU programmes of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds Natalija Laštro, prefect of Lika-Senj County Ernest Petry, representatives of project partners, public institutions and civil society.
RAISE Youth project coordinator, Mary Ann Rukavina Cipetić presented the project activities and results achieved in 2022 and introduced the plans for 2023. In the next year the new online market for local products from Lika, Taste Lika will be introduced and the smart aeroponic farm will be developed in Perušić.
Ms. Rukavina Cipetić pointed out that, by December 2022, RAISE Youth project had more than 3000 beneficiaries from the target group. Number of NEETs enrolled in education and training, including work-based learning reached 2500 while more than 500 NEETs are enrolled in apprenticeships and/or mobility schemes. Out of the target group enrolled in the project activities from the start, more than 250 got (self)employed and the number of those who started their own business is 120.
These numbers suggest that 9 months before the official end of the project, RAISE Youth team reached almost all the target values for the project deliverables & outcomes. With this in mind, 2023 will be the year we focus on the quality rather than quantity with the emphasis on building links and sustainability.
In the next year the new online market for local products from Lika, Taste Lika will be introduced and the smart aeroponic farm will be developed in Perušić.
After the official presentation the guests were invited to visit the RAISE Youth DEMO Center in Gospić.
