Casarrubuelos Town Hall presents Social Service Jam: a creative online event to promote youth entrepreneurship within social innovation. Activity framed within the European RAISE Youth project – 85% co-financed by the EEA Norway Grants program – and implemented by RAISE Casarrubuelos in collaboration with FUNDECYT-Pctex (Extremadura Science and Technology Park).
Entrepreneurship and ideas generation event
This entrepreneurship event to generate ideas and business proposals by the young participants will take place virtually in different work sessions from 7th to 21st of October 2020 and consists in some meetings to seek collective solutions to the economic, social, cultural and environmental challenges of our environment. Being the perfect opportunity to build community, learn new work tools based on innovation and make ideas come true.
These creative sessions will focus on young entrepreneur’s needs, who will receive help, support and mentoring from professionals of RAISE Casarrubuelos Demo Centre, to generate entrepreneurial ideas through several creative techniques and dynamics.
Who can participate?
- Young people who wish to be active agents of their territories through social, cultural and entrepreneurial projects.
- People with concerns and initiatives who want to get involved in the construction of new solutions and opportunities for local challenges.
- Unemployed people who wish to improve their skills to enter the labour market.
Why participate?
- Through collaborative practices, you will discover your potential for innovation and social entrepreneurship.
- You will be part of the RAISE Casarrubuelos Demo Centre, within the innovative European RAISE Youth project, where you will be able to reflect, question, experiment and propose new solutions to the main challenges in our environment.
- You will learn new dynamics and tools to work from a creative innovation approach.
- You will share this experience with other young people with the same concerns and motivations.
When will this online event take place?
This Social Service Jam will hold in different work sessions from 7th to 21st of October. With the following agenda:
- 7th of October: Event Opening. Initial assessment.
- 14 to 18 of October: group work week with, daily sessions for entrepreneurial ideas.
- October, 21st: event closing. Session to generate conclusions and guidelines to follow in the implementation of ideas to undertake. Closing of the event.

El Ayuntamiento de Casarrubuelos llevará a cabo Social Service Jam: evento online creativo para fomentar el emprendimiento juvenil dentro de la innovación social. Actividad enmarcada dentro del proyecto europeo RAISE Youth -cofinanciado en un 85% por el programa EEA Norway Grants– y puesta en práctica por RAISE Casarrubuelos y FUNDECYT–Pctex (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Extremadura).
Evento de emprendimiento y generación de ideas
Este evento de emprendimiento para generar ideas y propuestas empresariales por parte de los jóvenes participantes tendrá lugar virtualmente desde el 7 al 21 de octubre de 2020.
Este tipo de evento creativo de generación de ideas, es lo que se conoce como SOCIAL SERVICE JAM y consiste en una serie de encuentros para buscar soluciones colectivas a los retos económicos, sociales, culturales y medioambientales de nuestro entorno. Siendo la oportunidad perfecta para construir comunidad, aprender nuevas herramientas de trabajo basadas en la innovación y hacer realidad las ideas.
Estas sesiones creativas tendrán como protagonistas a nuestros jóvenes, que recibirán la ayuda, acompañamiento y mentoring por parte de los profesionales del Centro RAISE Casarrubuelos, para generar ideas emprendedoras a través de numerosas técnicas y dinámicas creativas. Más información aquí.
